Can easily remove time restriction on files using Adobe Acrobat. This is how:

Firstly remove security password on pdf using appropriate software

Then follow these steps:

1. Open file in Adobe Acrobat
2. Javascript window will pop up warning that file is out of date, click Ok.
3. Files will have an image on page that covers text etc.
4. Click Advanced, document processing, edit all javascripts
5. Scroll down in the text and find the date in 2009. Change it to 2017 or a date a long way away.
6. Click ok.
7. Save the document.
8. Reopen and time restriction has gone.
